You’ve got an event to organise
You’ve got to
- book the bands
- traders
- find a farmer’s field that’s big engough & not too far off the beaten track
- get all the required permits and licenses
- make arrangements with the local authourity and police
- hire enough portable loos
- get the tickets, leaflets and posters printed
and, stay within your budget, plus keep everybody else happy!
That’s enough to give anyone sleepless nights!
With all that you have to do, you don’t need more time wasters or people who will let you down.
You do need people you can trust to do what they say they will and then just get on with the job, preferably without involving you.
Oh yes and don’t forget, as someone
just said, “Make sure we have enough
volunteers to keep the place tidy!”
“Oh great”, I hear you say, “where am I going
to get volunteers and who is going
to oversee them to make sure the they do
the job?”
